Also known as a tettigoniidae, katydids bring quiet summer months to life with a soothing and pulsating hum.
But tettigoniidae is not who this blog is about really, it is about the person with the happy smile in the picture. She's got red hair, lots of freckles, and can make granola like no one's business. We also run the same pace, which is nice.

Little known fact: Katydid has wild hair and enjoys spending the summer months with Emily. She also enjoys long runs, especially when granola is devoured immediately afterward =)
