As I was cutting some lettuce spring mix, I noticed quite a few spider webs.
All that means to me is that there are spiders in my salad!
This added a new dimension to the meaning of "salad mix".
Then I found a grasshopper.
This adds another new dimension to my now, quite literally, springing mix.
Mmm!

oooh, protein... that's not all bad. Although, I generally do prefer my salad without the added nutrients... at least when there's a choice! ;) Hope your summer is going well! Don't get caught up in any tornadoes!
Mmmmmm... A few bugs never hurt anyone! Besides, you can take John the Baptist's diet seriously, locusts might not be that bad with honey-mustard dressing...
