Mark 6:31

"Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest" Mark 6:31

The disciples separated their souls from God and built of self-sufficiency. We think our life is busy! Look at the life of Christ. He was the busiest of all. We think that we don't have time to pray. Jesus spent hours praying. Mercy. How often I trim away my time with God doing things on my own agenda. Lord, let me rest in you.

Take some time to read Desire of Ages chapter 38, "Come Rest Awhile". It is powerful.

Some snippets from the past few weeks of my life.

There were times when I felt like I was going to start having

life threatening ventricular dysrhythmias, especially after playing my cardiac strip matching game. (This is a pic of torsades, if you are curious)

Keep learning. Keep pressing on.

A very worried me, pre-final. "Am I going to graduate?" What a sickening feeling.

Post- final test. Very relieved.

I love flowers, but I am not usually the lucky gal to get a beautiful bouquet.

Until today.

They added the perfect touch to an already glorious day.
